Dave Harris has been named Volunteer of the Year at the prestigious Basketball England Awards, in recognition of his outstanding commitment and tireless work across all levels.
Head Coach Dave Harris has been awarded the accolade of Basketball England Volunteer of the Year.
The award is a fitting tribute to the huge impact Dave has made, supporting every athlete and team within Leicester Dynamite. From grassroots community sessions to the club’s National League sides, Dave’s dedication, consistency, and passion for the sport have helped shape a positive and inclusive environment for players of all ages and abilities.
Well known within the club for going above and beyond, Dave plays a vital role not just in the day-to-day running of sessions, but also in mentoring players, supporting coaches, and helping teams thrive both on and off the court. His contribution has been instrumental in the club’s continued growth and success.
The Basketball England Awards celebrate, recognise, and honour the exceptional contributions of volunteers, coaches, and officials across the English basketball community, with national winners announced annually in the spring.
To be recognised on this stage places Dave among the most dedicated and influential figures in the sport nationwide.
