Leicester Dynamite recruiting players for new U13 girls’ team

Leicester Dynamite is recruiting players for a new Under 13 girls’ team and is encouraging girls to come and try the sport, meet new people and see what the clubis all about.

What the session is about

You don’t need to have played before to join in - this session is designed for girls who are completely new to basketball as well as those who may have tried it at school or in a club.

Our coaches will run fun drills, skills sessions and mini games to help everyone get involved at their own pace. 

Who the session is for

This is for girls who will be eligible to play U13 basketball in the 2026-27 season (typically school years 6, 7 and 8). If you’re not sure whether your daughter is the right age, just get in touch and we can help confirm.

We welcome:

• Complete beginners who want to try a new sport
• Girls who have played a bit of school or community basketball
• Players who are looking for a club environment with regular training and games

• Date: Saturday 27 July
• Time: 10am - 12 noon
• Location: WQE College, Lancaster Road, Leicester, LE1 7HA
• Who: Girls in years 6, 7 and 8 
• Level: All abilities welcome, no experience needed
• Bring:  Comfortable sports kit, trainers, and a water bottle
