Limited places remain for February half-term basketball camp

Young people aged 10-17 can book a place to attend Leicester Dynamite's February half-term basketball camp.

Leicester Dynamite is running a three-day basketball camp for the February 2026 half-term.

It will give young people the chance to get active, learn new skills and make friends in a fun, supportive environment.

The camp is designed to be welcoming for everyone - regardless of whether they have played regularly or are yet to pick up a ball.

It runs on Monday 16, Tuesday 17, and Thursday 19 February, from 10am to 3pm each day. Sessions take place in the Ball Hall at WQE College, Regent Road, Leicester, and are open to 10 to 17-year-olds of all abilities.

Both club members and non-members are welcome. The cost is £20 per day for non-members and £10 per day for members.

Across the three days, participants will:

  • Learn new basketball skills and techniques
  • Develop confidence. resilience and teamwork
  • Enjoy structured games in a safe, supportive setting.

All sessions are led by our experienced community coaches, who focus on enjoyment, player development, and creating a positive environment on and off the court.

Places must be booked in advance for players wanting to attend.

Anyone attending should bring:

  • A packed lunch
  • A refillable water bottle
  • Appropriate sports clothing and trainers.
