The club has revealed it will be running five teams in the NBL and four teams in the YBL in the 2026-27 season.
Leicester Dynamite has announced its full junior line-up for the new season, confirming an expanded programme across both National Basketball League (NBL) and Your Basketball League (YBL).
With 9 teams, the club will field more teams than ever before as it continues to strengthen its position as Leicester’s largest junior basketball programme.
In NBL, Leicester Dynamite will run squads at Under 12, Under 14 Premier, Under 16 Conference, Under 16 Premier and Under 18 level.
The introduction of two Premier league teams follows the success of the U14 and U16 squads last season.
The mix of Conference and Premier teams at U16 gives more players the chance to develop at an appropriate level while still aiming for top-tier competition.
Regionally, the club has confirmed a strong presence in the YBL, with teams at Under 13, Under 15, and two Under 17 squads.
“This is the biggest programme we’ve run at Leicester Dynamite and we’re very much looking forward to the season ahead,” said head coach Dave Harris.
“To be able to field this many teams across NBL and YBL shows the strength of our junior pathway and the commitment of our volunteers, coaches and parents. Our job now is to make sure every player, whatever team they’re on, gets meaningful minutes, good coaching and the chance to push themselves to the next level.”
The announcement follows a busy off-season of trials and planning, with training underway and league schedules to follow.
