Businesses can now sponsor Leicester Dynamite gameday kit

There's nine squads competing for Leicester Dynamite in the JNBL and YBL in 2026-27 - and you can get your name on a set of shirts.

We're planning on investing on new kits for the new season.

It means your logo will be seen in venues around the country.

It will also be showcased in squad pictures from our annual Media Day - as well as on your squad's gameday club Facebook and Insta socials across the season.

But you'll need to move fast - one of the squads has already been signed up by a sponsor!

What is included?

Leicester Dynamite - the city's largest junior basketball club - is inviting local businesses to sponsor a squad kit for the 2026/27 season.

With nine junior squads to choose from it's a visible and affordable way to back local junior basketball.

For a one-off investment of £400 you will provide a squad of 15 with a smart and durable new vest and shorts.

You'll be helping young people be properly kitted out to play the game - but your business also receives:

• Your logo on every kit in a full squad - worn at home and away fixtures throughout the 2026/27 season
• Your business tagged in via our socials - to an engaged local audience of parents, volunteers, and supporters
• Your logo on the Dynamite website - marking you out as a partner of the club

Eight of our nine squad kits remain available for the 2026/27 season.

But we want to keep it exclusive - one sponsor per squad.

Once each squad kit deal is reserved, it's gone - so early expressions of interest are encouraged!

Local businesses that sponsor grassroots sport gain community recognition and CSR benefits.

• Repeat visibility. Your logo is worn numerous times across a nine-month season - both home and away.
• You reach a local audience. The parents and families of Leicester Dynamite's 130+ players are your neighbours, your customers, and your community.

• It's cost-effective. At £400 for a full season, squad kit sponsorship compares favourably with the cost of other advertising.

Why Leicester Dynamite?

Leicester Dynamite is Leicester's largest junior basketball club - and one of the most established in the East Midlands.

Founded in 1997 by Dave Harris, the club has grown from a single Under 16 team into nine competitive junior squads, a senior men's team, and a full community programme. In 2026-27 it will compete in the JNBL's Premier division at Under 14 and Under 16 levels.

Other squads compete in two of England's biggest junior basketball structures:

• The Junior National Basketball League (JNBL) with teams at Under 12, Under 14, Under 16, and Under 18 levels
• Your Basketball League (YBL) is a regional grassroots league for Midlands players with Dynamite teams at Under 13, Under 15 and Under 17 levels.

Since entering the JNBL for the first time in 2003 - winning the league in our debut season - Dynamite has consistently produced winning sides.

One or two teams win their league each season, with all squads regularly finishing in the top three. Five players have progressed to basketball scholarships at universities in the United States.

Trial sessions for 2026/27 attracted 200+ young people - the club's highest ever tryout total.

Is it right for my business?

Kit sponsorship with Leicester Dynamite works particularly well for businesses that:

• Serve local families - such as estate agents, dental and medical practices, childcare providers, gyms, food and drink businesses, and local retailers
• Want to demonstrate community values - such as professional services firms and consultancies interested in sport leadership

Loughborough-based 1284 Communications has already committed to sponsor the Dynamite Under 13s - funding a new kit as the side make their debut in the YBL.

"We worked with the club last year on the launch of its new website and end of season review," said MD George Oliver.

"As a company, we created a lot of content about our relationship with the club across the season and are looking to continue that into 2026-27."
